La Morenita was born from love, purpose, and family. It all began with our Diego, who has non-verbal autism. Inspired by him, we set out to create something meaningful—something that not only supports our family, but also raises awareness for autism and helps create opportunities and understanding for autistic children and their families.

At the same time, we dreamed of bringing the heart of Mexico to Edmonton. Through traditional flavors, time-honored recipes, and vibrant culture, we aim to share the warmth, joy, and soul of Mexican cuisine while building a strong, inclusive community around the table.
